JAMMU, Sept 16: As part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav celebrations throughout the country, the Regional News Unit, All India Radio Jammu held a prize distribution ceremony in connection with the National Anthem Singing Competition engaging its entire staff organised by regional news unit.
Deputy Director, RNU, AIR, Jammu, R K Raina presented the mementos and certificates among the winners. Pranav Sharma, Technical Assistant secured the first position, Mustakeem Baig, Editor & Rajesh Malhotra, Dogi News Reader secured second and the third position was secured by Nirmal Vikram, Dogri News Reader, Alam Khan, Gojri News Reader and MTS, Tarseem Kumar. The Deputy Director said that besides this competition, RNU, Jammu is also organising various events for general listeners of AIR, Jammu and one such event is a weekly quiz in collaboration with DSW, University of Jammu. During the ceremony, senior news readers, Vijay Verma, Jagmohan Sharma & Vijay Kumar Bajaj were also present. |
