RAMBAN, Sept 16: District Level Forest Rights Act Committee Ramban today approved 5 cases after conducting a thorough scrutiny here at its meeting chaired by the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, who is also its chairman.
The Committee comprising nominated members including DDC Councillors Balbir Singh Bali, Sakhi Mohammad and Shamim Akhter besides DFO Ramban, Rajin Singh and DPO attended the meeting. After threadbare discussion and scrutiny of the 10 cases, the committee approved five cases, which included two individual and three community rights claims under Forest Right Act, 2006. |
