DIPR Cultural Wing Jammu organises awareness Camp at Bahu Fort

JAMMU, Sept 17: Cultural wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu today organised an awareness camp on Covid Appropriate Behaviour here at Saryara Sabha Bahu Fort to mark the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Station House Officer Bahu Fort, Police Station Kirti Sharma was the Chief Guest. Artists of the cultural wing presented a scintillating cultural programme featuring folk songs & theme based tunes.
A large number of locals witnessed the program amid strict adherence to the Covid Appropriate Behaviour. Artists of the cultural wing including Drama Instructor Vijay Anand; Senior cultural assistants Kamal Kumar; Surjeet Singh; Mohinder Kumar; Banti shah and Mukesh kumar entertained the audience. The program was conducted by senior cultural assistant Suresh Kumar.
The Chief Guest appreciated the effort of the cultural wing for spreading awareness among the masses regarding Covid and celebrating the importance of the AKAM. She appreciated the artists for using folk music as the medium of spreading the awareness and said it is entertaining and leaves a great impact on the locals. She also appealed to the people to follow the guidelines issued by the government for Covid appropriate Behaviour.
