| Administration Samba distributes motorized tricycle among Divyangs | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Sept 17: District Administration Samba today distributed 07 motorized tricycles as part of Social Justice and empowerment here at a function organized by the department of social welfare.
Deputy Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta while handing over the keys of motorized tricycle (scooties) and documents to the beneficiaries reiterated the resolve of district administration for ensuring welfare of all sections of society. She informed that the district administration has set the target of 100% saturation of the social welfare schemes."
She said that the Jammu and Kashmir Government is working for holistic empowerment of persons with disabilities by providing them benefits of various schemes including reservation, employment opportunities, financial assistance etc.
Programme officer ICDS Anu Bhel; District Social Welfare Officer Deep Kumar; District Information Officer Ajay Sharma, besides other officers of Social Welfare and beneficiaries were also present. |
