| NSS unit of GDC Jindrah holds awareness camp on nutrition | | |

JAMMU, Sep 17: The NSS unit of GDC Jindrah held an awareness camp on nutrition under Poshan Maah & Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in underprivileged area of village Jindrah. The NSS volunteers educated people of the area about the importance of nutritional diet and its relevance in achieving good health.
The participants very attentively listened to the volunteers and promised to follow the nutritional chart as proposed by the volunteers. Besides nutritional kits comprises of food items, vegetables, fruits, pulses etc. were also distributed among the locals of the area. The whole program was done under the supervision of Dr. Sunil Sharma, Program officer, NSS Unit of GDC Jindrah. Prof. Raj Shree Dhar, Principal, GDC Jindrah highly appreciated the move of the NSS team for organizing such awareness programmes.
