JAMMU, Sept 17: Government Degree College, Paloura organized online poster making competition on “World Ozone Day” under the aegis of Azadi a Amrit Mahotsav. 16 NSS volunteers participated in the poster making competition on the topic “Keeping Us, Our Food And Vaccines Cool”.
Shewali Malhotra of Semester 4 secured 1st Position whereas, Rakshit of Semester 2 and Ashmi Angral of Semester 4 secured second and third positions respectively. The event was adjudged by Prof. Pinky Manhas and Prof. Archana Sharma of Department of EVS. The e-certificates were given to all the participants. Prof. Ramneek Kaur, Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and reminded that ozone layer is vital for sustenance of life on the Earth and asserted that we as inhabitants of planet should contribute in every possible way to prevent further depletion of ozone layer.
