                    | Cong leader Gurmeet opposes  opening of Reliance Stores in Jammu |   |   |   Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 19: President Beopar Mandal and District General Secretary Congress, Gurmeet Singh criticized the government for establishing Reliance Smart Stores in Jammu region and expressed concern over the fate of Jammu traders. It is amazing that why the Reliance small stores are not being opened in the Kashmir region as the BJP government only wants to harass the traders of Jammu region. It is usually observed that BJP government always have a soft corner for traders of Kashmir and wanted to give the maximum benefit to them. He said that the businessmen of Jammu have already faced losses due to number of lockdowns and are still under bank's debts. They are not able to pay even their loan installment due to the lockdowns  Gurmeet Singh announced to extend support to the bandh call given by Chember of Commerce and Industry Jammu. He said that the Congress has extended full  support to the cause of the traders of  Jammu, stating that it's stand against the economic  policies of the BJP government, are  vindicated. He said that Congress had been opposing the wrong policies of the BJP including the anti-people, anti-traders, anti-farmers and anti poor economic policies of the BJP government. He  said that the BJP leaders from Jammu are silent on the issue which is a great concern for the trading community.  |
