| CHD Railway Udhampur organizes open house at Chari Swail | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 19: CHD Railway Udhampur organised an open house at Chari Swail near Railway Station Udhampur in association with Asha worker and PRI members .There was a big gathering of the community members of Chari Swail .The problem of the children and various issues concerning them and especially the girls about their menstrual problems and to maintain hygiene in this period of mensuration.Miss Sonali Verma counsellor of CHD briefed the gathering and the children about the role played by CHD Railway Udhampur. Some interesting item like mind map game was also played .In fact this game awared the children of different issues and problems that are faced by them.The team members explained about the Juvenile Justice Act 2015 and POCSO Act 2012 . Stress was also laid for using toll free no 1098 through an activity of reverse counting. Different querries of the children related to the education both offline and online were explained during this period of COVID .To give practical knowledge , some games were played with the children who gave positive response.Our counsellor of CHD awared the girls and women about the menstrual hygiene and it's management. In this event , Arti Thakur Coordinator was supported by Sonali Verma counsellor and team members Jasbir ,Sandeep and Priya. In the end sanitizers and some sweets were distributed amongst the participants. |
