AIJKBOO to celebrate Maharaja Hari Singh's birthday in all branches

JAMMU, Sept 19: All India Jammu and Kashmir Bank Officers Organization (AIJKBOO) has decided to celebrate 23rd September being the 126th birth anniversary of the founder of J&K Bank, Maharaja Hari Singh as "Maharaja Hari Singh Day" within the J&K Bank across all branches.
Addressing a press conference here today, Raghbir Singh Jamwal and General Secretary Mukesh Kumar requested the entire workforce of J&K Bank including officers, clerical and subordinate staff to celebrate the day as token of respect and gratitude towards the visionary Maharaja who laid the plinth of strongest financial institution of J&K state and thereby created the largest employment avenues for the people of J&K UT including the UT of Ladakh.
Raghbir Singh further urged the management of the bank to officially celebrate the day across the length and breadth of J&K Bank so that new generation bankers serving the institution may take inspiration from the larger than life personality of Maharaja Hari Singh. He briefed about the celebration programmes to be organized by AIJKBOO that officer fraternity of the bank will organize blood donation, plantation drive, oath taking ceremonies, floral tribute gatherings etc. in their respective branches and offices so that a positive wave of inclusiveness may develop in the work culture and amongst the work force across the ranks of the bank.
Mukesh Kumar, General Secretary of AIJKBOO informed about the membership drive of the organization, being started from the day designated as "Maharaja Hari Singh Day".
The office bearers of AIJKBOO present in the press conference included Dewaker Bakarwal, Ravinder Singh (Vice Presidents), Kulbir Singh (Secretary) and Vikas Khajuria (Treasurer) along with other members of AIJKBOO who witnessed the press conference.
