Memorable birthday gift for PM
9/20/2021 12:07:12 AM
India has set a world record by administering nearly 2.5 crore COVID-19 vaccines in a day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the health workers for achieving the feat.
PM Modi thanked the health workers for making his 71st birthday memorable. “Birthdays come and go but I have been away from such things. But yesterday was emotional for me. It has become an unforgettable occasion for me,” PM Modi said.
Since the day vaccination drive has commenced in the country the Prime Minister has been monitoring the developments keenly. He has been trying his best to motivate every Indian to get vaccinated as the COVID-19 jabs hold the key to defeat the virus.
The COVID-19 cases are on decline in Jammu region and Jammuties are hoping that a third wave won’t hit the region. People of Jammu have shown exemplary discipline and have followed the COVID-19 guidelines in letter and spirit. They have keenly listened to the advice of experts and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who during the last two years has remained focused on how to end the pandemic in the country. People of Jammu have stood with their leader and have proven to the world that if one listens to the leader anything can be achieved. After the outbreak of pestilence in early 2020, health workers pulled up their socks and left no stone unturned to help the patients, whose number kept on swelling with each passing day. The Prime Minister along with the entire nation has acknowledged their efforts and has time and again thanked them for their good work.
The pace of vaccinations has increased and it appears that the COVID-19 will be defeated soon. But people cannot be complacent. They have to follow the Covid Appropriate Behavior (CAB) in letter and spirit to ensure that the virus doesn’t raise its ugly head again.
On Saturday Jammu reported just 15 new cases and things are looking up. People are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and are hopeful that this light will last forever. People are no longer hesitant to get a COVID-19 jab and are coming forward in large numbers to get vaccinated.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has played a pivotal role in motivating a common man. He has truly proved to be an inspirational leader, who has led the nation during the crisis.
