JAMMU, Sept 23: The Cultural Wing of Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) Jammu, in collaboration with Institute of Music & Fine Arts, IMFA College Jammu today organised a cultural program to celebrate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Prof. Shohaib Inayat Malik, Principal IMFA was the chief guest of program.
The artists of DIPR Jammu which included Drama Instructor, Vijay Anand, Senior Cultural Assistants, Kamal Kumar, Surjeet Singh, Mohinder Panchairvi, Banti Shah, Vikram Charbhathia and Rajid Bhaderwahi presented different songs on the theme of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Covid Appropriate Behaviour, CAB. Besides, Prof. Suraj Singh and Dr Deepali Watal also took part in the cultural program.
Madhu Rani and Updesh, the students of IMFA also presented a patriotic song which was highly appreciated by the audience.
Prof Inayat lauded the role and efforts of the Cultural Wing of DIPR for holding a series of programs on the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and hoped that it would organise more such programs in future to celebrate the 75 years of India’s Independence.
He also urged upon the participants to observe social distance and follow all necessary instructions regarding covid 19 to avert possible third wave of Coronavirus.
The program was organised under the supervision of Cultural Officer, DIPR Jammu, Parul Khajuria amid strict adherence to Covid safety protocols. |
