| BJP leader calls on Div Com Jammu, raises several issues | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 30: BJP leader and Co-Convener Sanskritik Cell, Sumit Sharma held a meeting with Divisional Commissioner Jammu regarding Maa Sarthal Devi road and the water scarcity issues of Agral and Sarthal.
Sumit Sharma told Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Raghav Lanager that the condition of the Sarthal Devi road is going from bad to worse day by day. Sumit said that the inhabitants of Sarthal Devi and adjoining villages drew attention of the Div Com from time to time regarding the dilapidated condition of vehicular route from Kishtwar to Sarthal.
Despite spending hundreds of crores rupees for road construction from Kishtwar to Sarthal Devi, the condition of the road remains dilapidated, which finally has turned into a dry drain.
After listening to Sumit Sharma, Div Com Jammu, Raghav Langer immediately called DC Kishtwar Ashok Kumar Sharma and told him to take strict action regarding this matter and start restoration work within days.
Langer told DC Kishtwar that there should be no compromise on this matter and also directed him to send a team to look into the issue of water scarcity in Agral so that the matter could be solved Langer assured Sumit Sharma that all the issues will be solved on priority basis. |
