Yashpaul Nirmal conferred with two prestigious awards

JAMMU, Oct 11: Dogri and Hindi Litérateur, cultural and language activist, Linguist, Journalist and Social worker Yashpaul Nirmal honoured and awarded with the ''India's Most Dynamic Achievers Award 2021'' and "Most Outstanding Service Award 2012" by the prestigious organization of India Friendship Forum for his literary contributions in Dogri and Hindi Language.
Needless to mention that Yashpaul Nirmal was born in a village Ghari Bishna of Tehshil Akhnoor, District Jammu of J&K State, he got his early education in the Government Primary School, Ghari Bishna, latter he did his MA and M. Phil in Dogri from Jammu University. He qualified SLET and NET in Dogri. He also did MA in Hindi and Diplomas in Punjabi, Urdu, Journalism and Computer.
He started his career as a private school teacher in 1996. He worked as a correspondent with Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala and Vidarbh Chandika from 2001 to 2004. Later he joined Northern Regional Language Centre, Patiala as a contractual faculty to teach Dogri and linguistics to the Trainees of One year Diploma course in Dogri. He taught there for three years. In the December 2009 Yashpaul Nirmal joined Jammu Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages as an Research Assistant in Dogri. In 2017 he was promoted as Assistant Editor in Dogri Language. Yashpaul Nirmal was appointed as Assistant Professor in Dogri by the J&K Public Service Commission in 2017, but due to the non-cooperative behaviour of the J&K Higher Education Department he did not join the post.
Yashpaul started his writing in 1994. He had translated Shrimadbhagvad Puran in Dogri in the year 1996. He has authored several popular books in Dogri and Hindi languages.
He had also been awarded and honoured by the various Governmental and Non-Government Organizations.
