SAMBA, Oct 14: In order to sensitize the students about AIDS & HIV, Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Ramgarh, Samba in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society organized a poster making competition. This event was part of the second phase of the New India@75,Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav observed under the supervision of National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. All the students who participated in this competition prepared innovative posters on the theme of AIDS and HIV prevention. Hans Raj bagged the 1st Prize while 2nd and 3rd prizes were bagged by Prinka Devi & Ranjeet Kour respectively.
The aim was to sensitize the students about AIDS as they are future of society and nation. It will enable them to spread the message to wider circles. The event was held under the supervision of Ashwani Kumar principal and Dr Nidhi Anand, Nodal Officer, GHSS Ramgarh, Samba. Swarn Singh, Dr Karnail Singh and Prem Pal Verma were judges for the event. |
