JAMMU, Oct 14: Cycling Association of Jammu and Kashmir conducted District Samba Cycling championship at Vijaypur. More than 70 cyclists took part in the event. In under 14 age category, Nikhil Verma stood first, Gourav Panday clinched 2nd spot while Anish Sharma bagged 3rd position.
In sub-junior age category, Shivam Slathia stood first, Hariom Sharma stood 2nd, Gourav Singh came 3rd. In Junior category Abhay Choudhary stood first, Ansh stood 2nd, Rahul remained 3rd. In Elite category, Ram Rakga stood first, BikramSsharma stood 2nd, Shubam 3rd. In women category, Pallvi Sharma stood first, Jahanvi stood 2nd, Kajal sharma remained 3rd.
The chief guest on the occasion was Rampal Sharma Sarpanch Gho Brahmana Samba while ex-Sarpanch Bhagwan Dass was the guest of honour.
