DIG DKR Range chairs Crime Review Meeting

DODA, Oct 14: Deputy Inspector General Doda- Kishtwar -Ramban Range Dr. Sunil Gupta today chaired a crime review meeting of District Doda,here at the DPL conference hall.
On arrival, the DIG was presented with a guard of honor. After the guard of honor, the DIG inspected the Law and order equipment displayed in parade ground and interacted with law and order contingents kept ready in DPL to meet any challenge.
Later, the DIG chaired the Crime Review meeting and at the outset, SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed briefed him regarding security scenario, militancy as well as crime scenario in the District. The meeting was attended by Additional SP Bhaderwah, Abdul Qayoom, ASP Hqrs, Master Popsy and all the supervisory officers as well as all SHOs of the District.
The DIG took threadbare review of each Under Investigation case, inquest proceedings against absconders, missing persons etc and issued necessary directions for speedy and time bound disposal of the cases.
Besides, all the officers present in the meeting were directed to work on 5 point programme of Operation Sanjeevani (War against Narcotics), Operation Pathshalla (Interaction with Students and career counseling), Operation Kamdhenu (against Bovine Smuggling), Operation Bachavo (minimization of road accidents and engaging youth in rescue operations and train them).
All the participants were directed to work with dedication and maintain close synergy among each other, conduct regular PCPG meetings in order to build close rapport with the general public.
The DIG DKR range stressed upon the officers to develop good relations with the general public and take strict action against the violators/criminals.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks presented by Addl. SP Hqrs Doda. Later the DIG inspected the Police Public School Doda.
