| RTO office Kathua full of wrong doings, complaint lodged in LG's grievances cell | | |

POONCH, Oct 25: Office of Regional Transport Officer Kathua has crossed all limits of corruption and transferred a vehicle without NOC. According to the sources, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK08C-1586 was party who clear his finance and transferred it to second party after that the financial cases was found again by the name of first party.
In this regard a complaint was lodged before the grievance cell of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor by Nipun Sawhney on September 26, 2021, in which complete detailed complaint was written by the complainant. After forwarding this grievance to concern authorities, RTO Kathua issued a notice vide number 903-06/RTOK/2021-22 on 28/09/2021 to one Mohammad Khurshid son of Nazir Hussain resident of Jandrolla, Poonch, in which it has been written that the motorcycle stands transferred without following codal formalities and the party has got the vehicle transferred in his name by misrepresenting facts.
The party has been directed to file his reply within 15 days of this notification failing in reply action under section 55(5) of Motor Vehicle Act 1988 will be initiated against him without further notice. The complainant has appealed to LG administration to take strict action against RTO Kathua.
