DC Poonch reviews progress of B2V3 works

POONCH, Nov 5: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today convened a meeting with officers to discuss the financial status of works approved under flagship B2V-3 programme.
During the meeting various issues related to B2V2 works were discussed in detail which includes completion of PMAY(Gramin) houses, status of MGNREGA works, completion of all pending works, and various other issues related to development works.
The DDC sought in detail and updated figures block wise with regard to the estimation, tendering, allotment and completion of B2V-3 works, besides enquiring about issues if any hampering the execution of works.
It is informed in the meeting that a total of 825 works, including 526 of RDD, 13 of PWD, 237 of PDD, 27 of Jal Shakti and 22 of GWD and till now 819 have been tendered in which 580 have been allotted and 188 completed.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the BDOs to achieve the hundred percent targets within the stipulated time frame. He also directed the concerned executing agencies to complete all PMAY houses for homeless villagers by March 2022. He also directed to complete the tendering of B2V3 works and completion of the same within stipulated time frame.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Shafiq Mir; AD Planning, M.A Khan; XEn PWD, Parwaiz Malik; XEn PDD, Irshad Hussain, all BDOs, AEE,s JEE,s besides other concerned. officers were present.
