| Friday Dogri Musical Concert organized | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 5: Bharatiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in coordination with Directorate of Social Welfare and Sangam Tru Art Production presented Friday Dogri Musical Concert "NASHE KOLA BACHO" during quarantine time on the theme "Drug Abuse" at Rehearsal Hall, Durga Bhawan Janipur here.
The day commemorated as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional, primitive folk, art, culture of J&K in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items. The specially items prepared on the theme "Nasha Na Karna Maan Lo Kehna", "Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio", " Bacho Bacho Tobacoo Kola Bacho", "Nai Pee Shraban", "Bari Kharab Chutki", "Nahin Piya Tobacco Balma", Nukkad, skits, songs and dances were presented to aware the masses.
Chief Guest Magotra said the effects of drugs at last, there comes a stage when a person who takes drugs becomes dependent on them and has to keep on taking them due to avoid the pain of withdrawal symptoms and also said drugs and crime uses the commemorative day to highlight the dangers of drug use and their illegal trade and provides educational material to teachers and public officials all over the world to help spread the message about the extreme cultural and economic harm the trade in drugs is still doing across the globe and lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective. Artists of BLSKS also presented awareness songs "Do Gaz ki Dori- Bari Zarori on Covid19-". The song was written by Dr. M L Dogra & music of the concert was assisted by Rajeev Salotra, music instructor, BLSKS. The songs were recorded and uploaded on social media for general public. |
