JAMMU, Nov 8: The JKPCC Minority Department on Monday made major organizational changes in its state, province as well as district levels, by appointing two new state coordinators, one provincial coordinator and one Chairman of Jammu Urban. Gurdarshan Singh, Vice-Chairman Minority Deptt JKPCC, issued appointment order to the newly appointed state coordinators, provincial coordinators as well as the new District Jammu Urban Chairman. Gurdarshan Singh Vice Chairman said all the efforts had been made to maintain balance with adequate representation to all the minority communities in Jammu and Kashmir. Many young workers felt they lacked opportunity in the party, so the development came as a move to strengthen the Congress party at the grass root level. Jagjeet Singh and Choudhary Mohd Tariq have been elevated from Jammu district and given the opportunity to serve the state committee as its state coordinators while Balvinder Singh Rinku has been promoted to the post of provincial coordinator and Baldev Singh will head the District Jammu Urban as Chairman. Michael Wazir, State Coordinator congratulated the newly appointed team and hoped that this step would help to further strengthen the Minority Deptt as well as Congress Party. |
