2nd Caddy Golf Tournament held at JTGC

JAMMU, Nov 8: 2nd Caddy Golf Tournament was held today at Jammu Tawi Golf Course (JTGC), Sidhra, in which about fifty Golfers participated.
RS Chib, former Minister was the chief guest and J P Singh, ex-IGP, Vijay Saraf ex-Secy Amar Singh Club, Manav Gupta, Secy JTGC and Col Kathuria, Secy MEPTA (Miran Sahib) were the guests of honour. Prominent among the organizers were RN Sharma, BB Sharma and Dr Ritesh Gupta.
R Chib, while addressing the participants, after the prize distribution ceremony, appreciated the efforts of the Department of Tourism, for development of Jammu Tawi Golf Course and also the Secretary JTGC and his team for the management and upkeep of this Golf Course. Chib also thanked the govt for its decision to establish a Golf Academy at Sidhra which will go a long way to provide opportunity for young and old, to enjoy the game of Golf. He further added that, it is heartening to note that the UT Govt has decided to develop Sanasar Golf Course at Patnitop.
Chib congratulated the winners in particular and all the participants in general for taking part in the Tournament.
JP Singh, Manav Gupta and Vijay Saraf also congratulated the winners of the tournament.
The overall trophy was won by Shakeel Ahmed and the runner up was Arshad Kohli. Mukesh Sharma was a lucky winner to make up for the "Hole in One" award.
The awards of appreciation were given to Rohit Gupta, coach, Kuldeep Singh and Devinder Singh. Chib extended his special appreciation, to Dr Ritesh Gupta, for playing a leading role in the Technical Management of the Tournament.
