| GMC Jammu celebrates 'ANNANDAM 2021' | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 20: Continuing with the initiatives to chanelise the energy of the Students, GMC Jammu celebrated Student Cultural Programme 'ANNANDUM 2021' with observance of COVID appropriate behaviour. Principal & Dean Dr.Shashi Sudhan Sharma was the Chief Guest on the Occassion.The Students presented a cultural prog.which had the depiction of the rich cultural heritage of the UT & India.The items included Songs, dances , comedy & a tribute to the COVID-19 warriors who bravely fought the Pandemic & saved lives of millions of patients & also lost their lives during the process.Dr.Shashi Sudhan Sharma appreciated the organisers & participants for displaying a colorful prog.depicting the communal harmony & colors of this great Nation.She urged all the Doctors & Students to take care of their heath & be ready to meet any challenge in the future relating to service to the mankind. Chairman of the Cultural Committee Dr.Amita Gupta expressed happiness about the programme & thanked all the participants for their contribution in making the event a huge success.It is pertinent to mention that COVID appropriate behaviour was followed during the event & only fully vaccinated symptom free persons were allowed inside the hall.A counter for rapid testing was also made available outside the hall.All HOD's, Faculty, Residents attended the event. |
