Poonch, Nov 26: The Rural Development Department (RDD) Poonch has allegedly concealing details of allied works carried out across the district.
According to the sources, not only this, even the disengaged supporting staff members engaged under MGNREGA are working without salary for their vested interests.
Office of the Assistant Commissioner Development Poonch had issued an order ACDP-Estt-2018-19-6927-32 dated 14-9-2018 to disengage ten supporting staff members but these people are still working in Panchayats without salary. They have also been seen attending meetings.
Sources informed that the details sought from RDD Poonch about the allied works carried out across Poonch district were not provided and only the detail of the Poonch block was provided.
They further said that gross irregularities are being made by the department, can be gauged from the fact that a GRS of panchayat Loran has been doing all official works, which he is not authorised to do. “Several schemes of PMGSY have still not been provided to remote areas despite having funds,” they said.
Early Times has already published news items related to mismanagement in RDD Poonch and after which Joint Director RDD has assured that inquiry into the Allied works will be conducted and action will be taken if anyone found guilty. |
