Jammu, Dec 3: NSS GGM Science College under the patronage of Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan organized a cleanliness drive with in and around the campus of the college under the Clean India Campaign; a country wide campaign initiated by the Government of India.
This drive was inaugurated by college Principal Dr.Ravender Tickoo. He said that India’s largest cleaniliness drive which aims to make India more sustainable and eco-friendlier for living should be taken by all. Students are the real ambassadors of cleanliness and motivate others to keep their homes, schools, colleges and surroundings clean. Taking the broom to sweep the campus, cleaning up the surroundings, focussing on sanitation and maintaining a hygienic environment should become a regular practice. The main motto being “EK KADAM SWATCHTA KI AUR” NSS volunteers Nancy, Aaghav, Ajinka, Aman, Anchal, Divya, Karanveer, Meehika, Pallav, Pranav, Reetik, Sahil, Sajal, Sonal, Suhani participated in the cleanliness drive promoting “Clean India: Safe India”. |
