| GDC Bhaderwah organizes college level activity on tuberculosis awareness | | | EARLTY TIMES REPORT
BHADARWAH, Dec 4: GDC Bhadarwah in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society, (JKACS) H&ME organized different activities on TB awareness viz poster making, slogan writing and debate competition. The programme was organized under the patronage of Dr Kuldeep K Sharma, Principal of the college. The event was organized to commemorate the 75th year of Independence (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav).
The programme was aimed to spread the awareness among students and different sections of the society regarding its prevention. 50 participants of different semesters of the college participated in the activities and expressed their views on TB awareness, its spread and preventive measures. At college level, Ajay Kumar of semester 5th bagged first position in poster making competition whereas Vishal Bharti and Jhanvi Sharma of 5th semester secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Anmol Thakur of 5th semester bagged first position in slogan writing activity whereas Sehar Khan and Ritika Sharma secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The event was conducted under the supervision of Dr Sandeep Kotwal (Sr Asstt Prof in Botany) Nodal Officer of the Red Ribbon Club of the College. The event organizing team comprised of Prof Davinder Kumar, Prof Sandesh Kumar, Prof Jaideep Kumar and Dr Sangeeta Devi.
