| DC visits DH, Emergency Hospital Batote | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Dec 4: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today conducted surprise inspection of District Hospital Ramban and Emergency Hospital Batote and took stock of healthcare facilities besides preparedness of the Health department to deal with the threat of Omicron a new variant of Covid-19.
The DC was accompanied by the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital, Dr. Hameed Zargar, Tehsildar Batote Mehboob Khan, BMO Batote Rajnesh Kumar and several other officers.
The DC directed the Health officers to strictly implement the Covid protocols to prevent spread of Covid infection. He went around the wards and interacted with the patients and attendants to enquire about the health facilities being provided to them by the Hospital Administrations. He also advised them to wear masks and maintain physical distance in order to prevent spread of deadly Covid-19 infection.
The Deputy Commissioner also checked the roster of the doctors and other paramedical and other staff deputed on call duty. He passed directions to the Medical Superintendent, DH, Ramban and BMO, Batote to ensure that all medical facilities are extended to OPD & IPD patients in a hassle-free manner in their respective institutions.
The DC also reviewed progress on installation work of 300 LPM Medical Oxygen Gas Plant at Emergency Hospital Batote.
The DC directed the Health department to sensitize the patients and their attendants about the PM-JAY-SEHAT scheme besides ensuring that all the patients shall avail the benefit from this universal health insurance scheme. |
