| GRP Jammu organizes T-20 tournament | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 11: GRP Jammu organized T-20 tournament at Railway ground Jammu. Teams from GRP Jammu, Railways and adjoining areas/schools participated in the tournament. The tournament lasted for 28 days and 33 matches were played in all. Trikuta Club Jammu clinched the trophy defeating Northern Railways by 19 runs.
Trophies, mementos and medals were given to the winner, runner up teams and other participating players. Mohammad Arif Rishu, SSP Railways Jammu was the chief guest at the presentation ceremony on the final day of the tournament. SSP Railways lauded the role of the organizing committee for this nicely organized tournament. He said these events not only provide opportunity to police to meet and interact with the youth of the area but also provides a platform to the youth to exhibit their talent. |
