| Violating COVID-19 safety norms Super Specialty Hospital, Jammu organizes Langar | | |  Muneeb Ahmed

JAMMU, Dec 13: Even as the daily Covid-19 tally has been consistently rising in Jammu & Kashmir, violation of COVID SOP’s has surfaced in Super Specialty Hospital, Jammu putting the safety of doctors and paramedical staff who are working right from the first day of outbreak of corona virus and are working as frontline workers to risk.
On Sunday a langar was organized by staff members inside the premises of Super Specialty Hospital, Jammu ignoring all COVID protocols. It was seen that people (including staff members) had climbed on top of each other to take langar. Masks were also worn by a few people. This apathetic attitude of authorities is resulting in increased possibility of infection among doctors and staff.
This indifferent attitude of staff members of Super Specialty Hospital, Jammu is a cause of grave concern as it will demoralize the spirit of other frontline warriors like junior Doctors, nurses and Paramedical staff. |
