| Divisional Commissioner lays foundation of auditorium at Chamber House | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 14: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Raghav Langar laid the foundation stone of Auditorium at Chamber House in presence of office bearers of the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI) along with the senior members during a simple yet impressive function here today.
The Divisional Commissioner eulogized the role of institutions like the Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a strong partner in endeavour towards the progress and prosperity of the society and nation building.
Emphasizing that as a leading body of industries and commerce at the Union Territory, it is a key driver of policies at UT level with its membership base of entrepreneurs, he appreciated the CCI President Arun Gupta and his team for having taken the CCI to new heights. The CCI President Arun Gupta thanked the Divisional Commissioner on behalf of the Chamber members for sparing valuable time to lay the foundation stone of the auditorium despite his busy schedule. He said that the present team has planned complete transformation of the body in the better interest of the entrepreneurs of the UT and ultimately that the nation.
He assured the Divisional Commissioner that in the coming time the CCI will become more proactive by working at the grass-root level with stronger national and international linkages.
Chanden Kohli, SSP Jammu and Rohit Basotra SSP also graced the occasion and lauded the role of Chamber and said that Chamber is not lagging behind in performing social and other responsibilities as and when need arise. |
