JAMMU, Dec 17: The Revenue Department Nowshera has been allegedly harrassing an elderly man to get justice of his own land despite lapse of six years. Moreover, despite the directions from Divisional Commissioner Jammu to the concerned revenue department Nowshera for taking immediate action on the application of the complainant but the later refused to take action on the matter.
The complainant namely Inderjeet Sharma said that the Revenue Department Nowshera has not been demarcating his land. "Whenever I visit the revenue department, they refuse to entertain the case despite giving the letter of Divisional Commissioner. They threw the letter on my face," he accused.
Not only this, even the department has changed the Khasra of my land for demarcation, which shows to that department to the matter lightly, he alleged. All this is being done due to provide personal road to an individual, he said further adding that what can we say that when a person has to fight for his land.
When Early Times contacted the ADC Sunderbani, he said that the matter came to his knowledge and the demarcation has been made. But when complainant was contacted, he said that he is not satisfied with the demarcation. |
