| Prakash Utsav of Guru Gobind Singh to be celebrated on Jan 9 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 6: 355th Prakash Utsav (birth anniversary) of Guru Gobind Singh is going to be celebrated on January 9 at Gurdwara Digiana Ashram Jammu from 10 am to 2.00 pm as decided by Shri Akal Takhat Sahib, the supreme seat of authority in Sikhism.
This was informed by Jammu Kashmir Sikh United Front (JKSUF), an amalgam of various Sikh organizations J&K, Chairman, Sudarshan Singh Wazir while addressing a press conference here today.
Sudershan Singh Wazir said that the programme will habilitate under the supervision of Mahant Manjeet Singh of Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch. It is pertinent to mention that the renowned Raggi Jathas, Katha Wachak and Parcharak from Punjab will make aware the Sangat about Guru Ji's preachings.
The Sikhs all over the world celebrate the Parkash Utsab of Guru Gobind Singh Ji with gaiety and fervour and remind the sacrifices made by Guru Gobind Singh, Wazir said.
