11th International Exhibition of Art by JKCCA inaugurated

JAMMU, Jan 16: 11th International Exhibition of Art (Online) organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu was inaugurated today by Dr. Nathu Lal Verma, Senior Artist from Jaipur on virtual platform.
Ramesh Bhosale, Senior Arist from Pune & Advisor, JKCCA was the guest of honour on this occasion. The art works of eighty eminent and well known artists, along with the works of young artists of India and abroad in their own styles and mediums have been put on display in the show.
Dr. Nathu Lal Verma has congratulated all the participating artists and the members of JKCCA for organizing such events even during hard times of pandemic.
According to O P Sharma, Founder Director, JKCCA, the NGO was established back in the year 1999. Since then it has been organizing different art, literature and cultural activities at various levels providing platform to the artists. He said that JKCCA has successfully organized ten International Art Exhibitions (Physical and Online).
The names of prominent artists participating in the show include V S Rahi, Fareha Zeba, Dhaka, Bangladesh; Dharminder Sharma, Prof. Varinder Saini, Punjab, Dr. Asha Anand, Uttra Pradesh; Sumitra Ahlawat, Delhi; Jang S. Verman, Ganesh Kumar Sharma, Kamalnain Bhan, Aslam Naqshbandi, Sireesha Srinivas, Archana Choudhary, J&K; Atul Matoo, Punjab; Rakesh K Koul, Haryana, Subhash Shorey, Bhavini Shorey, Chandhigarh; Pratima Singh, Uttar Pradesh; Mohmmad Salim, Rajasthan; Yashwant Patel, Gujarat; Sangita Sharma, Jayanti Patil, Maharashtra; Mamta Rajesh Bora, Shantla Madhu, Karnataka; Deepthi Jayan, Tamil Nadu; Yamuna Menon, Kerala; Mamta Patel, USA.
