MENDHAR, Feb 6: Roads play an important Role in the Development of any Area’s But What is Going on Here in Mendhar where Every Roads Has a Different Story to Tell. The Bad Condition of Ari-Surhoti Road has exposed the Working style of Power Works Department (pWD) Here, Despite spending Lakhs, Ari -Sarhuti roads have exposed Roads and Building (R&B) Department carelessness, Due to bad condition of this road commuters suffering badly. Resident Told, “This road was macadimized nearly 4 few years back but the usage of poor quality material on this road makes it a bad condition road, they expressed strong resentment against the authority concerned for not not using quality of material in the road.
Locals said that potholes have become money-spinners, PWD authorities and Concerned contractor of the Ari-Sarhuti roads should repair this road as they are responsible for filling Low strength bituminous material on the road, instead of filling pothholes scientifically to ensure that the road will not damaged by rains.
They further said,” Lack of quality bituminous mix is also a reason for the material getting washed away or eroding But Authorities Concerned have maintained a Deep silence over the use Sub-Standard material in the roads.they said this road Connects several nearby villages but the ill condition of the roads adding woes among the residents of the area’s against the public works Department for their failure to undertake Repairig of this road. Locals appeals higher authority of public works Department- PWD (R&B) for immediate repairing of this roads So that people of the area may not suffer due to bad condition of this road. |
