Physical Education Teacher from Kishtwar wins Rs. 20 lakhs in Dream 11 fantasy game

Kishtwar, Feb 6: “The fortune favours the braves” is a famous proverb which fits a Physical Teacher from Kishtwar Subash Thakur who wins Rs.20 Lakh in a Dream 11 fantasy game late last night in a PSL 7 Match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi. After tax deductions, Thakur get 14 lakhs in his account. Thakur creates three teams for the match between Kings and Zalmi and out of these three teams, his 2nd team hit the jackpot. Thakur choose classical and world No.1 batter Babar Azam as a captain of the team that fetch him 242 fantasy points while he chooses former Pakistani captain Shoaib Malik as Vice Captain of the team that fetches him 180 points. He also choose Mohammad Nabi, Hazratullah Zazai of Afghanistan in his team along with Ben cutting, Cockbain as two other foreign players in the team along with Kamran Akmal as wicket keeper.
Among the bowlers Thakur Choose Umaid Asif, Amar Yameen, Usman Qadir and Mohammad Umar and overall manage to score 884 points which is enough to beg his Rs.20 lakhs. Thakur who is a Physical Education Teacher and is posted at Dadpath Kishtwar said that he is playing Dream 11 since last few years and on few occasion he manage to win Rs.10000 and this is his first jackpot in the fantasy game. “I was unaware- it was suddenly midnight when I received a call from my brother who is in Jammu informing me about the same” said Thakur who came to know about winning the jackpot after his family members read a social media post from the Facebook wall of journalist Asif Iqbal Naik.
Thakur is presently performing his duty at COVID cell established at DC office complex Kishtwar.
