| Modi govt's timely initiatives proved a boon in fight against Covid-19 pandemic: Neelam Langeh | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Feb 6: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former MLA Ramban, Neelam Langeh has said that it was due to timely initiative taken by the BJP government at the centre headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the country is successfully overcoming the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a statement, Langeh said that the number of fresh Covid-19 positive cases reported continues to maintain a declining trend and more than that the recovery rate is showing a significant improvement. He said that given the progress made during this third wave in overcoming the challenge schools, gyms and other establishments have been opened in the national capital with full capacity and that he was sure that educational institutions, recreational facilities besides other establishments will soon open in Jammu & Kashmir too.
Langeh said that the central government had imposed timely country-wide lockdown to break the chain of the virus during the first wave besides creating huge medical infrastructure right upto tehsil levels which has proved to be a boon in fight against the deadly virus during the second and ongoing third wave thus saving the precious lives of the people. |
