JAMMU, Feb 7: Citizen’s Forum request and suggest to the Chief Secretary A K Mehta, that since financial help in the shape of development funds for Jammu region of the J & K union Territory are coming in dismal proportion because of many reasons though known to us but dont want to elaborate only desire a Jammu Tourism Development Financial Corporation be created with IAS officers of financial back ground only to raise FDI loans from international market at a very low interest rate to help create a world class Jammu tourism infrastructure and financially help the present stake holders at all levels to improve their facilities. You can work for getting a permission from center government and RBI as per law of the land. IF roads and highways can be constructed with FDI funds why not Jammu tourism.
RK Chhadha, the president of the forum said enough is enough no local leader be involved or included in this proposed tourism financial corporation and employees should also be drawn and employed with IFS qualifications and cader. No sifarshi appointment. please try this issue otherwise Jammu Tourism will remain confined to repair of lanes and drains and black topping of roads only you people , educated and qualified can change the destiny of people of Jammu.
