| Shahnawaz kick starts repair work of road at Lathoong | | |  Early Times Report
SURANKOTE, Feb 11: JKPCC General Secretary and DDC member from Surankote A block, Shahnawaz Choudhary kick started repair work of PMGSY road from Lathoong to Khui Ki Gali at (Lathoong) Surankote here today in the presence of AEE, AE and PMGSY officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahnawaz Choudhary said that repair work of this road was always on his priority list but several technical issues became the speed breaker in getting approval of funds but he succeeded in getting this done after continuous follow-up and efforts from last one year. Speaking further he said that road connectivity is first step toward development of any area and assured locals that with their prayers and good wishes we will take more steps in right direction of getting this area more facilities.
Local public present on this occasion gave a warm welcome and garlanded Shahnawaz Choudhary and other dignitaries present.
Others who were present on this occasion were Sarpanchs Waheed Shah, Ishtiaq Khan, Satar Din and Sikander Noorani besides senior citizens Rashid Kassana, Laiqat Kholi and others. |
