| Early Times means Desh, Vande Matram: Ravinder Raina | | ‘Needs to be strengthened, not suppressed’ | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: J&K UT incharge of Bharatiya Janata Party, Ravinder Raina on Friday said that no injustice should be done with Early Times as it has always stood for national interests.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function here, Raina said, “Early Times has always highlighted the issues of national importance and has always led from the front in exposing the scams.”
He said, “Early Times means Desh (country), Vande Matram, it shouldn’t be suppressed. It needs to be strengthened. It has helped in inculcating the spirit of nationalism in Jammu and Kashmir.”
On being told that the government has blocked the advertisements to Early Times for the past one and a half year, Raina said, “I am unaware about it. I will take up the issue with the Information Department. All of us love Early Times and it needs to be strengthened.”
He said, “I am an avid reader of Early Times and the first thing in the morning is that I read this newspaper.” |
