Allen’s 604 students selected for scholarship in NTSE Stage-2 results

KOTA, Feb 20: Allen students have achieved phenomenal success in the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage-2 results declared by NCERT. Director, Allen Career Institute, Naveen Maheshwari told that 30% students from the total selected students in NTSE Stage-2 results are from Allen Career Institute.
He informed that a total of 2033 students have been selected in the NTSE Stage-2 results in the country of whom 604 students of Allen have been selected for the NTSE scholarship. “Out of the 604 selected students of Allen, 387 students are from Allen classroom coaching, 193 students from workshops and 24 students from distance learning program”. Success of Allen Career Institute in NTSE Stage-2 results was celebrated by a cake cutting ceremony with Allen students on Saturday.
Vice-President, Allen Career Institute, Pankaj Birla, PNCF Head, Tushar Parekh and Amit Gupta present during the celebration ceremony greeted students for the success.
Maheshwari told that the NTSE Stage-2 examination was conducted in two phases. The first stage examination was conducted at the state level by the respective state boards while the second stage examination was conducted at the national level by NCERT. The NTSE Stage-2 exam was conducted on 24 October 2021.
A total of 2033 students have been selected in the country for NTSE scholarships in the NTSE Stage-2 examination results. Out of the 2033 students, 811 students are from the general category, 561 from OBC, 304 from SC, 155 from ST, and 202 from EWS.
The cut-off is 140 for the general category, 122 for OBC, 113 for SC, 105 for ST, and 109 for EWS. Union Ministry of Human Resource Development awards Rs 1250 per month scholarship to the students in classes 11 and 12 who are selected at the national level in the NTSE Stage-2 results. While Rs 2000 per month scholarship is awarded to the selected students in their graduation and post-graduation studies.
