| GDC Chenani celebrates international social justice day | | | Early Times Report
CHENANI, Feb 20: Govt. Degree College, Chenani under the auspices of its NSS unit PRAYATNA organised a one day Student Awareness Programme on 20th of February 2022 to commemorate the International Social Justice Day.
The theme of the programme was closing the inequality gap of income and material inequality to achieve social justice.
The programme was aimed to generate sense of responsibility among the students so that they can uphold the values and raise a voice against the social injustice and participate in the global movement to eliminate poverty, illiteracy, gender and physical discrimination to make world a socially integrated society.
More than 60 students displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters and students from all semesters participated in the competition with zeal and enthusiasm and made powerful appeal of restoring social justice.
Principal of the College, Dr. Pragya Khanna appreciated and lauded the efforts of students for displaying artistic skills to make their Point.
She exhorted that social justice promotes fairness and equity across many aspects of society.
It is also important to the safety and security of individuals and communities. The programme was organised by Dr. Asif and Pardeep Kumar. |
