| DPS Jammu organizes computer festival | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 28: Delhi Public School, Jammu Organized a Virtual Computer Festival on 26th of February,2022 for Class II to VIII. Events held under this Festival were- Quiz spiel (Class II to IV),Tec novation (Class V &VI) and Code Fiesta(Class VII &VIII). The Prime objective of this event was to provide an interactive platform to the participants to know themselves better in terms of technology.
Students from all the classes participated in this virtual event with great zeal and determination . In the first round (25th of February,2022), students participated by sending their entries through E-mail, out of which best 10 entries were chosen for the second round, conducted on 26th of February,2022.
Students from class II to IV showed their creativity in technology through MS. Paint and MS. Word conducted under the supervision of Roseline, Manmeet Kour and Shruti. Students from Class V & VI presented their topics using MS PowerPoint conducted under the guidance of Sonia Chadha and Minakshi Gupta. Students from Class VII & VIII applied their programming skills and computational thinking in the field of coding by using Language Python conducted under the supervision of Supinder Kour and Alisha Mahajan.
Overall, it proved to be an excellent opportunity for the children to acknowledge and showcase their talent in the field of technology via Virtual mode. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the students and the teachers for the successful conduct of the event. She also thanked the Parent community for their unconditional support and praised the students for putting up such an amazing event. |
