Potable water to every house: Yogi in Sonbhadra
3/5/2022 10:45:42 PM
AGENCIES
UTTAR PRADESH, Mar 5: Regretting that under the previous state governments, Sonbhadra suffered from water scarcity, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said BJP's double engine government implemented 'Har Ghar Jal Yojana' under which water is being supplied to every household now.
Addressing a public rally in the Duddhi assembly constituency of Sonbhadra on the last day of UP assembly election 2022, the CM also promised after the formation of the BJP government again in the state, free water will be supplied to the farmers for irrigation.
Yogi said the people of Sonbhadra district always invoked nationalism in their acts and thoughts and were able to identify mafias and the hardcore dynasts. ?The district has witnessed a huge transformation in the last five years. An uninterrupted power supply is being provided to the area without any discrimination which was not the same during the SP government.?
Stating that under the able leadership of PM Narendra Modi, free tests, free treatment, and the free vaccine were provided to every individual during the Covid-19 period. ?If there was an SP-BSP government in the state, then this vaccine would have been black marketed.?
Every poor is also getting ration twice a month in the state under the double engine government. This was not the case in the previous government, the CM said.
Yogi attacked the previous governments saying, ?In the SP-BSP government, these people themselves used to gulp the ration of tribals, poor, Dalits and farmers. Instead of reaching the beneficiaries, the ration was either eaten by the goons of SP or 'Behenji's' elephant,? adding that the BSP elephant's stomach is so big that the whole state's ration was consumed by them.
"We have decided that after forming the govt we will provide free travel to women older than 60 yrs of age in state corporation buses, free LPG will be given to every poor during Diwali and Holi. Also, free scooty will be provided to meritorious girl students. "Besides, the amount of money given under Kanya Sumangala Yojana will be increased to Rs 25,000 while under the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana, Rs 1 lakh will be transferred,? Yogi Adityanath said.
He further added that over five lakh youths were given government jobs in his government while two crore youths were connected with employment.
"In the next five years, the BJP will work to connect one member of every family with a job, employment, or self-employment scheme," he added. Furthermore, Yogi assured that two crore tablets and smartphones will be given to the youth along with free digital access to prepare for online examinations and attain online education.
The CM also listed the development works carried out under the BJP government maintaining that a Medical college was given to Sonbhadra for good health service, while an ITI was opened in Duddhi area. He also promised that a house will be given to every family of SC-ST, Nomads as well as the Most Backward Classes. CM Yogi said on one hand we are getting development work done and on the other, we are getting bulldozers run on those who encroach on the property of the poor. He said a strong government is needed to run the bulldozers and for that the people need to vote on the lotus symbol.
