| Youths have a decisive role to take J&K out of morass of disappointment, hopelessness: Mehbooba Mufti | | |  Early Times Report
R S PURA, Mar 19: PDP Chief and former Chief Minister J&K Mehbooba Mufti said that BJP government has no plans to get rid of the problem of growing unemployment among the youths.
“They have ruined the country in the present situation, one feels insecure and does not know whether he or she will be alive tomorrow or not.
They started their clandestine designs with Jammu and Kashmir where the situation is much worse than the rest of the country,” she said while talking to media persons here.
Mehbooba said the existence of Jammu & Kashmir is in danger under the BJP and the youths have a greater responsibility as the coming generations will question their stand in the face of the BJP's onslaught on their identity and culture. She said that PDP owes its emergence to avowed objectives of peace and reconciliation and it cannot commit a sin to defeat the mission of its patron and former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed or undermine the sacrifices of its people and party workers by compromising on the basic agenda.
“There is a dire need that everyone has to put earnest and sincere efforts to strengthen the party and make it a more vibrant force that can fight for the peoples' rights with an impeccable will and remain in the forefront to end their predicament,” she said. She stressed on the need to foil the “vicious designs of the vested interests who are hell-bent to weaken the PDP”.
Mehbooba visited the residence of social activist and PDP Jammu District Media Coordinator Narender Sharma at Kotli Shah Doula to condole sad demise of his mother.
Mehbooba met the family members and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family praying to Almighty to grant peace to departed soul in heaven. |
