NITI Aayog organizes research symposium 'Convoke-2022'

JAMMU, Mar 21: COVOKE 2021-22, a national research symposium organized in collaboration with NITI Aayog and Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, to encourage teachers and head teachers from Government schools to write research papers.
CONVOKE 2021-2022 the first ever national level symposium was launched on 9thDecember 2021 to provide a platform for teachers, head/ principals of government schools and educational administrators to help improve learning outcomes. This platform provides teachers a space to discuss, collaborate and exchange ideas and further represent it in the form of a research paper.
Teachers and principals from states across India applied with their micro research papers as per the format provided. A total of 191 research papers were received from across 26 states and UTs of India.
NITI Aaayog and Bharti Foundation will evaluate the papers basis a pre-defined matrix followed by short listing of 16 papers that will be presented on March 30. Later, top three papers will be awarded in a valedictory session at a National level.
In keeping with the National Education Policy-2020, this one-of-a-kind event strives to improve student learning outcomes. Research papers were received from states includingAndhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim.
