Land disputes regarding construction of school buildings taken up under SAMAGRA resolved

RAJOURI, Mar 21: On the directions of State Project Director, SAMAGRA Deep Raj, JKAS and under his overall supervision, Deputy Director Planning, SAMAGRA Bilal Rashid* visited the Zone Koteranka, to sort out the long pending Land disputes. Deputy Director Planning Bilal Rashid informed that, HS Sankari was upgraded as Hr. Secondary School Sankari under SAMAGRA and 08 Class rooms with Toilets were sanctioned in the year 2018-19 with an estimated cost of Rs. 99.00 Lacs but due to non-availability of Land, the work of the same could not be started. Similarly, High School Larkooti sitauted around 1.5 Kms away from Road, having enrolment of more than 250, is having only 3 rooms and for which with an estimated Cost of Rs. 99.00 Lacs 8 Rooms along with Toilets were sanctioned, but work could not be started yet due to non-availability of land. Students of the Schools had to suffer and it was tough for School Administration to manage the classes informed the Head of Institutions.
*Dy. Director Planning, SAMAGRA further said that, State Project Director, SAMAGRA Deep Raj is very keen to provide Good infrastructure to the Schools* and due to which he deputed him to visit the sites along with ZEO Concerned, Head Master concerned and Technical Staff so that issues may be resolved and Construction may be taken up after floating of Tenders. He also said that, it's the instructions of State Project Director SAMAGRA, to assess the feasibility first before the projection of Project, so that while execution, land availability issues could be avoided and Infrastructure could be developed for schools where the same is actually required. It is pertinent to mention that, both the land disputes today got resolved and at one Location Mr. Waseem Ahmed has assured & agreed to submit an affidavit for donation of Land for the Construction of Building at HS Sankari within 2 days and at the other Location, with some internal Management, Land has been arranged for the Construction of 8 Classrooms at HSS Sankari.
Deputy Director Planning, SAMAGRA was accompanied by ZEO Koteranka Alaf Din, I/C Principal (Headmistress) HSS Sankari, Head Master HS Larkooti Abdul Rashid, SAMAGRA Staff from CEO's Office Rajouri, Sunil, Harjeet, Lodhi (AE) SAMAGRA, Staff from ZEO's Office Koteranka, among other staff members.
