SRINAGAR, Apr 28: Residents of Kaigam-Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district today lodged a strong protest against the Jal Shakti department and said that the area is reeling under severe water crisis.
The residents came on the road and resorted to high pitch sloganeering in support of their demands. The residents said that despite highlighting the issue at different fora the issue has not been resolved. As a mark of protest the protesters were carrying empty cans and demanded stern action in the matter. |
