| Prominent Sikh personalities demand restoration of security to Tarlok Singh Bajwa | | | Early times report
Jammu, May 15: an emergency meeting of prominent sikh leaders and organizations was held under the chairmanship of s. Mohinder singh chief organizer bhai kanaya nishkam sewa society j&k and ex-member dgpc jammu. In the meeting various issues confronting the community were discussed and the issue of withdrawal of security of s tarlok singh bajwa, former rajya sabha member discussed in particular.
The speakers showed anguish that security of a mp has been withdrawn but the district president of different political parties; ex-mlcs, ex-mlas and ex-minister are enjoying this privilege. The sikh organizations appealed the home minister Amit Shah, lg Manoj Sinha and Director General of Police.
The speakers said that bajwa is a public man and shall have to move in border area to provide social services to the public at odd times it is unfortunate that the disparity and discrimination is being done with the minorities in all spheres of life. The situation in Jammu & Kashmir is not normal and incidents of selective killings occurred.
