DDC Chairperson kick-starts black topping work of Watalbagh Sonerpora road

Ganderbal, May 15: DDC Chairperson Ganderbal Nuzhat Ishfaq today kick started the blacktopping work of Watalbagh Sonerpora road.
After inaugurating the blacktopping work, the Chairperson informed the public that road connectivity was the pre requisite for the overall development and it is the first priority of the government. This was the long pending demand of the residents as the roads were in depilated condition. Official of R&B department and local residents were also present on the occasion.
Nuzhat Ishfaq, while stressing upon the executing agency to maintain quality of the work, said that macdamization work should be completed within the prescribed time.
She also interacted with the public and listened to people’s issues and demands. She assured them that their grievances will be redressed on priority. People of the area thanked the DDC Chairperson for her continuous efforts for the development of the area. DDC Chairperson Nuzhat Ishfaq on the occasion said blacktopping will be done in almost every block and 120 kms will be covered during this year under different schemes. Under NABARD the roads which will be macdamized include Shallbugh 3km, Tullamulla 4km, Arampora Malpora 1.5 km, Bobsipora Watalbagh 2.5 Km, Tullamulla Sehpora 2km, Buderkund 2km, Babadaryadin 1km, Rangil Nagbal 3km, Chappergund Gutlibagh 2.5km, Zazna Batwina 1.5 Km, Batwina Nizambagh 2km, Badampora 2 5 Km, Batwina 2km, Barsoo Youngoora 2km, Arhama 1.5km, Kachnambal 1.5 Km, Kangan main 2.5 Km, Mamer 1.5 Km, Ganiwan 1.5 Km, Fraw 1.5 Km, and other roads . Besides Saloora Bamloora inner links, Pandach Beehama, Duderhama, Gangerhama etc will be covered in CRF and other projects.
