Early Times Report

UDHAMPUR, May 15: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a Prashikshan Shivir (Training cum Orientation Camp) at Udhampur today with the objective of educating the grass-roots level party workers besides volunteers at the lowest level of strata about the history, ideology and future goals set by the Party for the nation and especially for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
In his address on the occasion the senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister said that the motive behind holding the party’s Prashikshan Shivir is to educate the workers and activists of the party, who have been entrusted various responsibilities at Mandal level. He said that the training programme is specifically tailored to ensure that those attending the camp give their best performance at the grass roots level absolutely in line with BJP’s ideology which mainly focuses on selfless service to the nation and its people. He added that for BJP, the Nation and its people are the topmost priority while self comes the last.
Kavinder said that these Prashikshan Vargs will be spread over different sessions, with each session exclusively devoted to a particular subject with a senior leader speaking on the subject at length. He said that this time BJP is organizing Prashikshan Vargs comprising different sessions whereby party workers and activists will be enlightened about ‘History and growth of BJP over the years’; ‘Vision and Ideology of Bharatiya Janata Party and the Sang Parivar’, besides other significant topics.
Asserting that the party workers at the grass roots level are the real strength of the organization, Kavinder asked participants of today’s programme to dedicate themselves to the service of the nation and its people and invoke all possible efforts for party’s success in forthcoming political contests in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls as well as for next Lok Sabha election in 2024.
President Puran Chand, DDC Chairman Udhampur, Lal Chand, Jeevan Lal, BDC member Balwan Singh were also present.
