RAJOURI, May 17: A public deputation from panchayat Dalhori Salyote of Block Dhangri today met with Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal and apprised him about a number of issues and demands of their areas.
The delegation members included Sarpanch Panchayat Sagote, Sanjeev Kumar Mangu, Ex Army man, Surjeet Kumar and others.
The delegation discussed scores of developmental issues with the DC including macadamization of roads, better healthcare facilities, up-gradation of Government institutions, paucity of staff etc. Specific issues included implementation of JJM, better roads, MGNREGA payments and Awas plus implementation etc.
The Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation members that all their genuine concerns would be redressed in a time bound manner.
While talking to the delegations, the DC reiterated that the District Administration is making tireless efforts to solve the difficulties of the public and making services and welfare schemes easily accessible to them so that they don't face any inconveniences.
Stating that people's role was imperative in the developmental process, he also appealed to them to work side by side with the District Administration and keep a close eye on the developmental activities being carried out in their areas. |
